Lent and Easter Season. We have got a ton of amazing opportunities to go deeper and participate in the story of Jesus this year.

Easter Baptism. Sign up to get baptized this Easter, March 31st during out 10am service. Baptism is an outward declaration of our faith in Jesus. As we're immersed (baptized) in the water we make visible our participation in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, proclaiming that we belong to the family of God and are citizens of a new Kingdom. After signing up for baptism, a pastor will follow up with you to discuss details for the day of. Sign up here.

Easter Desserts. On Easter we're throwing a party right after our Sunday morning service and we need your help to make our celebration as sweet as possible. How can you help, you might ask? Great question. By bringing your favorite sweet to share with the community! Are you a macaroon master? Perfect! Are you a bread genius? Amazing. How about a cupcake savant? We'll need you. Going Deeper. Every Sunday during lent, Zach and Vanessa will be facilitating a class taught by Scot McKnight, who makes accessible his decades of teaching and writing on Jesus and the Gospels. In short videos, Dr. McKnight introduces the person of Jesus as he is revealed in the Gospels and in the testimony of the earliest Christians. The course unpacks the historical context of the Gospels and their key literary features. Topics include: the Kingdom of God, the Ethics of Jesus, the Sermon on the Mount, the Parables, and the Resurrection. Discussion will follow video content.

Missio Youth Skate Night. Youth grades 4-9 join us at Millcreek Common for a night of ice skating! There will be pizza, hot cocoa and loads of fun! Cost is 5 dollars for skates (if you don't have your own) and 7 dollars for the rink access. If you have questions reach out to zach@missiodeislc.com! Parents are welcome to hang out and skate as well! Register here so we can plan food.


Workday. Register for our Saturday work day, March 16 from 10am - 1pm. Our workday will focus on setting up the Missio Garden! A new initiative from Missio to help provide fresh, locally grown food to our community and neighborhood. Sign up here.
